Tomorrow’s Book: Artifacts in the AnthropoceneA collection of three books that communicate climate change in an approachable and personal way. Each imagines future worlds based on data projections: extensive waste through a nature poetry anthology; biodiversity loss through a family cookbook; and increased levels of carbon dioxide through a field guide.

Streamer No One TypefaceRevival typeface based on Streamer No 36, an American Wood Type Co. block system that was first shown in William H. Page’s Specimens of Wood Type and Borders (1882). The typeface inverts the letterforms to a positive version, removing the borders seen on the wood blocks (a version of this positive face was first shown as wood type by Page in 1879). While staying true to its quirks and personality, Streamer No One increases legibility, opens up counters, and creates greater consistencies in width and spacing. Created during Type Elective’s type design crash course.
